Survival
A great film clip from Jean Jacques Annaud of a young bear being pursued by a cougar. How they filmed it I don’t know but it’s amazing.

You have probably heard a lot of these before but here goes.
“Going to work at 7am this morning I drove out of my drive straight into a bus. The bus was 5 minutes early.”
“I was driving along when I saw two kangaroos copulating in the middle of the road causing me to ejaculate through the sun roof.” (from an Australian claim form)
“The accident happened because I had one eye on the lorry in front, one eye on the pedestrian and the other on the car behind.”
After 2 weeks holidaying in Cyprus we are back in the UK early Monday morning and I have another 12 days before my next venture, a weeks walking on the Pembrokshire Coast Path with 4 buddies of mine. That means another week of heavy drinking so I will have to dry out for a few days.
My nieces wedding went well, after the short ceremony overlooking a picturesque bay we adjorned to the Cliffe Bar (see image) for canapies and drinks. To my delight my brother had organised an alto sax player to make the party go with a swing.
Am I living the internet marketers dream – blogging in the sun? I am holidaying on the island of Cyprus while taking in my neice’s wedding this week. My good lady and myself are staying in the 5 star Grecian Park Hotel, which also has 5 star prices. A pint of local beer is nearly 6 Euros/8 dollars and a Capuchino is almost the same price. Needless to say we have found local tavernas where the prices are more acceptable.
We have walked a couple of coastal paths and yesterday took in the Troodos Mountains where we walked for four and a half hours around and up to the summit of Mt Olympus, which at 1952 metres/6400 ft is the highest point on the island.
Northern Cyprus was illegally invaded by the Turkish military in 1974 and is still split into the Turkish North and the Greek South. The border is under the control of UN troops and it is now possible to cross on the production of a passport. Despite the protests of the international community the occupation continues and no solution looks imminent.
We were at the border at Famagusta today, where the once thriving cosmopolitan holiday resort is now a decaying ghost town with rats and reptiles the only life in the weed invested streets.
A Dilemma Not The Song
14 months ago I joined the John Thornhill Masterclass, not necessarily with the intention of making lots of money online, although it was a nice thought, but to further my knowledge of the technical side of the business, which was limited to say the least. Even now I am still an amateur but have learnt an awful lot in that time, thanks in the main to my techie friend Adrian.
The Location
I have just come back from my brother’s future son-in-law’s stag weekend in Spain and have just about recovered after over indulging in alcohol. The mayhem started on Friday at 06:30 in Manchester Airport and finished at 04:30 the following day, even longer for my son, son-in-law and nephew. The next 24 hours were similar and some didn’t finish until the plane landed back home.
The stag himself finished up in hospital on the Saturday afternoon, so it was quite an eventful weekend. The location was quite attractive as the image shows but I am past drinking sessions like this anymore.
