I love mountain walking and the high views that come with it. I have climbed a lot of the high mountains in the UK, Southern Ireland and the Mediterranean.  This is one walk I would have had to give extreme consideration to in my peak days, and even then I doubt if I would have had the nerve to tackle it, I certainly wouldn’t attempt it now.

Commerciality can be said to be the measure of potential profitability of different keyword phrases.

Certain keywords can have a great monetary flow while others can only produce a dribble of monetary flow. If you pick the right keyword phrase it can produce great amounts of profitability. Pick the wrong ones and you will make little or no profit. You may have keyword phrases that are very relevant to your site, that have high levels of traffic to your site and low levels of competition, but you may find that nobody buys your product or products. This will be because your site has low levels of commerciality. Get this very important point wrong and all your hard work will have been in vain.

The idea behind the Robin Hood Tax is to generate billions of pounds, hopefully even hundreds of billions of pounds. That money will fight poverty in the UK and overseas, it will come from fairer taxation of
the financial sector.

A Robin Hood Tax of just 0.05% on every financial transaction traded, would raise 250 billion pounds globally and 20 billion pounds in the UK. The Robin Hood Tax offers an alternative to making the British public pay, whether through VAT increases, cuts in health services, public services or cuts in education. All these would be rendered immediately unnecessary if the speculative gambling that takes place in cyberspace was minimally taxed.

Piano Man

Earl Hines, universally known as Earl “Fatha” Hines was born in 1903 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. The young Hines took classical piano lessons and at eleven he was playing organ in his local Baptist church. He also had a good ear and a good memory for popular tunes and could re-play songs and numbers he heard in theatres, even before the sheet music came out.

So that’s OK then, we can all just walk out with a full shopping trolley and if we are stopped, well we can always pay for the goods with an apology, if not we have free shopping. I bet the stores love this latest crazy idea. Blunt by name and Blunt by nature.

Have You Been Chugged?

‘Chugger’ is a contraction of the phrase ‘charity mugger’. In actual fact no one is really ‘mugged’ in the true sense of the word but people do frequently receive unwanted attention in the busiest shopping streets. Along with the ubiquitous market researchers and the Big Issue sellers, shoppers can begin to feel harassed. Certain people feel embarrassed at turning down a charity request and give in to the chuggers and these are more than likely the people who can least afford the regular donations. Visitors to city centres have complained about being pestered and repeatedly stopped by the fund-raisers.
