Make A Living Will

My Living Will

Last night, my kids and I were sitting in the living room and I said to them,

‘I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle.

If that ever happens, just pull the plug.’

They got up, unplugged the Computer, and threw out my wine!!!!

The little bastards ……….

The Good Old Days?

Those Were The Days My Friend

An interesting recent blog post by Bryan McHeyzer on how times and peoples lifestyles have changed brought back memories chronicled in a physical book I wrote last year. It was the story of an amateur football club and the industrial area of North East Manchester where the club was founded.

Bradford, Manchester was a heavily industrialised area and although only 1 mile square, once housed 28,000 inhabitants in back to back terraced houses. It was an area where poverty was rife and pawnbrokers were a necessary part of the local scene. I was brought up there in my early years and many of the points raised by Bryan are covered in detail in the book.

Great Commercial

Johnie Walker – The Man Who Walked Around The World

Whether you are a Scotch drinker or not, this is a terrific commercial and well worth watching. The timing of the narrative and props is impeccable and it’s shot in one of the most beautiful parts of the world – Perthshire, Scotland. It is probably the most unusual commercial ever shot since the days of the PG Tips chimpanzees.
